European Transport Policy sees growing role of road pricing schemes in the future

In a dedicated chapters related to 'Smart Pricing and Taxation' and 'Integrated Urban Mobility', the Commission sees a growing role for road pricing schemes as a establishing a fair pricing system and managing growing traffic volumes. In this sense, the lessons drawn from from the GINA trials may be prove valuable.
